About Faisal Khan Dev
I’m Faisal Khan say it: FY-sal KAHN — most people find me online as FaisalKhanDev. I’m a full-stack developer with 6+ years of experience, and over the last few years my work has shifted heavily toward AI: building systems that don’t just serve data, but actually reason over it, automate around it, or act on it.
On the frontend I mostly work in React and Next.js. On the backend, Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL. For AI work, that’s Python, Hugging Face, LangChain, the OpenAI API, and increasingly agentic systems — tools that can take multi-step actions on their own rather than just returning a single response.
I work remotely and take on clients across the US, UK, Canada, Europe, and beyond. Project-wise, I don’t stay in one lane.

Connecting tools and removing repetitive manual steps, often using AI where it actually helps rather than as a buzzword
I got into this the way a lot of us did — playing too many PC games as a kid (IGI, Counter-Strike, Max Payne, every GTA up through Vice City, Age of Empires) and eventually getting curious enough about how they actually worked to start reading about it. That curiosity turned into a computer science degree, and since breaking into the gaming industry from here wasn’t realistic, web development became the path — PHP in 2020, React in 2021, Next.js in 2022, and full stack from mid-2022 onward.
The AI shift hit in mid-2024 when OpenAI and Gemini were everywhere. I built my first chatbot with the OpenAI API, got excited enough to deploy it and hand it out to family and friends — a few of them promptly abused it hard enough on tokens that I had to add rate limits within days. That was the moment AI stopped being an abstract trend and became something I wanted to actually build with, alongside full stack work, on real client projects. Agentic AI came after, and it pulled me in the same way the games once did — enough to go dig through courses, podcasts, and articles until I understood how it actually worked, not just what it was supposed to do.
If you’re trying to figure out whether I’m the right fit for what you’re building, the fastest way is to look at the actual services and pick the one closest to what you need.
